Farah, the founder and president of Arjang Language Center, was born with a passion for the
richness of language in her blood! She was very young when she was first exposed to English
and loved it from the first moment. As a professional translator / interpreter, she has worked
with diplomats, doctors, patients, lawyers, Olympic Committee, and charity organizations to
name a few. A native Farsi speaker, Farah has lived in the US since 1993 and started working
as a freelance translator as soon as she decided to consider California as her permanent home.
Later she dedicated her life and investment in translation industry by creating a center that
concentrates in Farsi and Dari language studies.

Babak is an electric engineer by education. As a professional linguist who specializes in
technical and legal translation, Babak is the lead translator at ATC while he manages the linguists
and projects in Iran. With his excellent translation and linguistic skills, Babak has managed to
learn the nuances of Dari and Farsi which qualifies him to provide translation for both dialects.
Babak is a talented artist and is an amateur photographer. While his passion for languages and
art has made him a significant asset to Arjang Translation Center, his technical background is an
extra ordinary quality that cannot be matched.

Mo is a veterinarian by education whose passion for literature and languages gave him the
opportunity to become a professional editor. He is a gifted linguist with multi artistic abilities.
A self taught language learner, Mo is a professional editor while he works on the trilingual
dictionary of Dari, Farsi and English. He is the lead editor at Arjang Translation Center.

Azadeh is an MA graduate of Translation Studies and believes the best fun in life is making a
living by a job that you love. As a professional translator, Azadeh loves her work and constantly
thinks about ways of improving her knowledge and experience in translation. She joined ATC in
2006 and soon became a lead translator due to her excellent work and professionalism. Azadeh’s
devotion paired with her hard work is an asset to Arjang Translation Center.

Ali has an M.A in Translation Studies. He has been working with Arjang Translation Center since
2006. Ali’s experience in translating English to Dari is an asset to Arjang Center. Currently, in
addition to translation and editing, he is working on a trilingual dictionary of Dari, Farsi and
English.

Golnar is a talented artist and a graduate of sculpting Arts from Art University of Tehran. She
plays the flute, sculpts and paints in her free time. Her passion for languages combined with her
artistic view of the world is an asset to the Arjang Translation Center. Golnar has studied both
English and Spanish but has chosen to specialize only in English> <Farsi translation.

Helia studied Industrial Design at the Art University of Tehran. Her passion for the art and
languages gave her the opportunity to work with a reputable publisher as a researcher and translator
on the Art Encyclopedia project in Iran . She is an artist by nature and puts her art into translation.
